Mills never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against King's Academy on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 11-8. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Knights back in April, they had to take a 6-0 defeat.

Kalia Woo tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jazzlyn Maske, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Sydney Chu, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Mills' record now sits at 12-9. As for King's Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mills is set to face off against their familiar foe Carlmont at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, King's Academy will square off against rival Hillsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (King's Academy 3.7, Hillsdale 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
