Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Roosevelt waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Kalani Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rough Riders have posted against the Falcons since March 8, 2023.

Kayden Tolentino tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Luke Tuasivi, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Roosevelt is undefeated when Tuasivi posts two or more runs, but 3-5-1 otherwise. Bryson Momotomi also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
