It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Oak Grove had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 30-8 margin over the North Lincoln Knights. Considering the Grizzlies have won seven contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Oak Grove got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kimari McFadden out in front who rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Jyden Barnes, who rushed for 59 yards and one score on only seven carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Oak Grove was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September.

Another reason for the win was Oak Grove's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece.

The victory (which was Oak Grove's sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points over those games. As for North Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Oak Grove wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 36-7 victory against Northwest Cabarrus on the 14th. North Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
