Soccer Recap: Jackson Starts Season with Loss at Home

Jackson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Rockwood Summit Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Jackson couldn't quite close it out.

Looking ahead, Jackson will be taking part in a tournament against Murphysboro at 6:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Rockwood Summit, they will venture away from home to face off against Christian Brothers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
