Taconic Hills hasn't had much luck against Greenville recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Titans will host the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. Taconic Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
Taconic Hills' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Germantown with a sharp 12-0 win. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Clippers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kaylin Brazie made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Taconic Hills let Mikayla Silvernail and Bria Madison run wild. Silvernail went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Madison went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two runs gave Madison a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Bleau, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Taconic Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Germantown only posted an OBP of .316.
Meanwhile, Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 19-7 to Catskill.
Macey Flannery was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Molly Robertson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Taconic Hills' win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Greenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
Taconic Hills took their victory against Greenville in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
