Softball Recap: Wilkes-Barre Takes a Loss

Wilkes-Barre lost against Tunkhannock back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolfpack came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-2. The Wolfpack just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Wilkes-Barre saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Prushinski, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Wilkes-Barre's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tunkhannock, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Wilkes-Barre will be playing in front of their home fans against Wyoming Valley West at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolfpack are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tunkhannock, they will face off against Williamsport at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
