Douglas is 9-1 against Buena since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Friday, Douglas and Tanque Verde finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Buena, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Mountain View a 1-0 shutout on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Colts as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Buena's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. With that draw, Douglas' record moves to 5-3-2.

Douglas came up short against Buena in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 2-0. Can Douglas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
