Volleyball Recap: Springfield Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

Springfield hadn't done well against Cloverleaf recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Colts. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Colts back in August, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Springfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-23.

Springfield's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Cloverleaf, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
