Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Mitty vs. Dougherty Valley

The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs will face off against the Dougherty Valley Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Archbishop Mitty is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Turlock on Friday. Neither Archbishop Mitty nor Turlock could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, it was close, but last Thursday Dougherty Valley sidestepped Napa for a 3-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one goal.

They hit Napa with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michael Xiong, Armon Alboudwarej, and Arya Mohan.

The win made it two in a row for Dougherty Valley and bumps their season record up to 2-0. Archbishop Mitty's draw gives them a new season record of 2-0-1.
