Soccer Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

After failing to score in their last contest, Foundation Christian Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Barren County on Tuesday. They blew past the Trojans 5-1. Considering Foundation Christian Academy have won three matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Foundation Christian Academy pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four games. As for Barren County, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foundation Christian Academy will challenge Larue County at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Barren County, they will take on Monroe County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Barren County will be up against Monroe County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.6 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
