Recap: Constantine Falcons vs. Buchanan Bucks
The Constantine Falcons had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came out on top against Buchanan by a score of 21-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Constantine also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Leading Constantine to victory were Brendan Presswood and Bennett Vandenberg. Presswood rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while Vandenberg rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Constantine's victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.3 points. As for Buchanan, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Constantine will stay at home for another week and welcome Ovid-Elsie at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Ovid-Elsie is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. Buchanan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
