Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Jay County

Heritage has played every game this season on their home pitch, but they'll have to hit the road on Monday. They will head out to take on Jay County at 6:00 p.m. Jay County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Heritage's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Garrett with a sharp 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Heritage, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Jay County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.0 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Patriots who were credited with the victory. Jay County got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Woodlan's four.

Heritage's win brought them up to 3-1. As for Jay County, the victory improved their record to 4-1-1.
