Basketball Recap: Foxcroft Academy Takes a Loss

Foxcroft Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 40-31 to the Presque Isle Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ponies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 32-26 back in December of 2024.

Foxcroft Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Presque Isle, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Foxcroft Academy will head out to challenge Mount Desert Island at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Presque Isle, they will take on Caribou at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caribou will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Presque Isle surely won't give up without a fight.
