After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Alexander finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 5-1 to the Marietta Tigers. The loss continues a trend for Alexander in their meetings with Marietta: they've now lost eight in a row.

Alexander's goal came courtesy of Eliza Blaney, who's now up to five this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Alexander fell to 5-1. As for Marietta, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Alexander didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Athens on the 4th. As for Marietta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Warren on the 4th.
