Softball Recap: Saint James' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Saint James was riding high fresh off their 12-1 takedown of St. John's Catholic Prep last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints came up short against the Allegany Campers on Wednesday, falling 7-0. The loss put an end to the Saints' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Saint James fell to 2-1. As for Allegany, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Saint James didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-0 win against Foxcroft on the 3rd. As for Allegany, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-1 victory against Fort Hill on the 4th.
