Basketball Game Preview: Maricopa Indians vs. Shandon Outlaws

The Maricopa Indians will head out on the road to take on the Shandon Outlaws at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maricopa has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Maricopa picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They blew past Coast Union, posting a 60-25 win. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Shandon played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Valley Christian Academy and fell 89-20. The Outlaws have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shandon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Maricopa, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Everything came up roses for Maricopa against Shandon in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 58-19 victory. In that game, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 30-9, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
