Harlan posted their biggest victory since January 4, 2024 on Thursday. They breezed by the Chicago Vocational Cavaliers to the tune of 66-16. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-10.

Harlan was led to victory by Jameel Patterson and Derion Pope. Patterson posted 23 points, while Pope earned 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Jackson, who scored nine points.

Harlan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Chicago Vocational, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlan will host Chicago Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chicago Vocational, they will be playing at home against Christian Fenger Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
