Basketball Game Preview: Georgia Christian Generals vs. Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Georgia Christian Generals will head out on the road to face off against the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Georgia Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Sherwood Christian Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Georgia Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They snuck past Crisp Academy with a 50-44 win.

Meanwhile, Sherwood Christian Academy came up short against Southland Academy on Tuesday and fell 41-28. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgia Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Georgia Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Sherwood Christian Academy in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 51-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Georgia Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
