East Carter waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Pike County Central Hawks 71-46. With the Raiders ahead 40-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Carter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jocelyn Rudd, who posted 11 points. The dominant performance also gave Rudd a new career-high in field goal percentage (80%). Another player making a difference was Tori Bishop, who put up 11 points.

East Carter's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Pike County Central, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
