After flying high against Morningside last Thursday, Hawthorne came back down to earth. The Hawthorne Cougars suffered a tough 11-1 defeat at the hands of the Beverly Hills Normans on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Hawthorne has scored all season.

For Beverly Hills' part, Cam Park was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Park was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and a triple.
