Softball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Has No Trouble Against Palmer Trinity

Oxbridge Academy won the last time they faced Palmer Trinity and things went their way on Friday too. The Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves blew past the Palmer Trinity Falcons 12-2. Considering the ThunderWolves have won five matches by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Oxbridge Academy got a massive performance out of Gianna Tarducci, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave Tarducci a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaiya Glucksman, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Oxbridge Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Oxbridge Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. Palmer Trinity's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.
