Soccer Game Preview: Benjamin vs. Miami Country Day

The Benjamin Buccaneers will be taking part in a tournament against the Miami Country Day Spartans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Benjamin saw some tournament action on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Gulliver Prep who was credited with the win. Gulliver Prep got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Benjamin's three. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Sienna Barboni, who's now up to three this season.

On Monday, everything went Miami Country Day's way against Westminster Academy as Miami Country Day made off with a 6-1 victory. With the Spartans ahead 4-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Miami Country Day's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Benjamin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2.

Benjamin took their victory against Miami Country Day when the teams last played back in January of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Benjamin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Miami Country Day turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
