Volleyball Recap: Ridgewood Comes Up Short

Ridgewood lost against Riverside-Brookfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ridgewood was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Riverside-Brookfield work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24.

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Ridgewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Saint Viator on the 14th. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Willowbrook on the 9th.
