Softball Recap: Danville Ironmen vs. Selinsgrove Seals
Danville was the 10-6 winner over Selinsgrove when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Ironmen fell 11-8 to the Seals on Tuesday. The Ironmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Brynn Wilson led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryleigh Hepner, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Danville's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Selinsgrove, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3.
Danville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Central Mountain on the 9th. As for Selinsgrove, they are taking a road trip to challenge Line Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
