Basketball Recap: Northern Michigan Christian Comes Up Short

Northern Michigan Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brethren Bobcats. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 61-48.

Northern Michigan Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Brethren, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.

Northern Michigan Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brethren, they will be playing at home against Onekama at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Onekama will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Brethren surely won't give up without a fight.
