Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Sets Scoring Season-High Against Ludlowe

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph). They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Ludlowe Falcons 60-57. That's more bragging rights for the Cadets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ludlowe's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Cimador, who posted 39 points and three blocks. Cimador's evening made it 16 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Hayden Mcbean was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.

The victory got St. Joseph back to even at 2-2. As for Ludlowe, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph has already played their next matchup (against Kolbe-Cathedral), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ludlowe has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Ridgefield.
