Basketball Recap: Global Concepts Piles Up the Points Against Lake Shore

Global Concepts strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their game with ease, bagging an 80-51 victory over the Lake Shore Eagles. Fans of the Gators have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Global Concepts' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eric Davis Jr. led the charge by shooting 80% from the field on his way to 25 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The contest was Davis Jr.'s third in a row with at least 21 points. Jose Castro Jr. was another key player, going 9-for-17 en route to 21 points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Global Concepts' record is now 3-0. As for Lake Shore, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Global Concepts will take on West Seneca West in a holiday battle at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lake Shore, they will be home for the holidays to greet Orchard Park at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
