Soccer Game Preview: Waynesboro vs. Fort Defiance

The Waynesboro Little Giants will challenge the Fort Defiance Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Waynesboro's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Buffalo Gap with a sharp 10-0 victory. Waynesboro haven't had any issues with Buffalo Gap recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Fort Defiance made sure to put some goals up on the board against Riverheads on Tuesday. They blew past the Gladiators 4-1.

Fort Defiance has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Waynesboro, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-1.

Waynesboro beat Fort Defiance by a goal in their previous matchup back in April, winning 2-1. Do the Little Giants have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
