Volleyball Game Preview: Esperanza Aztecs vs. Kennedy Fighting Irish

After both having extra time off, the Esperanza Aztecs and the Kennedy Fighting Irish will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Esperanza sitting on four straight victories and Kennedy on eight.

Esperanza is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Newbury Park 3-2.

Meanwhile, Kennedy beat Vista Murrieta 3-1 on Saturday.

While Kennedy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Vista Murrieta scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22.

Kennedy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10. As for Esperanza, their victory bumped their record up to 20-11.
