Dynamic duo of Irving Singletary and Baron Davis lead Burlington Township to victory

Recap: Burlington Township Falcons vs. Bordentown Scotties

The Burlington Township Falcons's three-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They had just enough and edged Bordentown out 57-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Burlington Township also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Leading Burlington Township to victory were Irving Singletary and Baron Davis. Singletary scored 12 points along with six rebounds, while Davis scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Isiah N'diaye was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Bordentown lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ari Miller, who scored 11 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew DeCosta, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.

The victory got Burlington Township back to even at 1-1. As for Bordentown, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burlington Township will square off against Westampton Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Westampton Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday. As for Bordentown, they will head out on the road to face off against Medford Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Medford Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday.
