Soccer Recap: West Brunswick Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in March, West Brunswick was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the Newton-Conover Red Devils could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, West Brunswick's record moves to 4-8-2. As for Newton-Conover, they moved theirs to 10-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Brunswick will venture away from home to challenge North Brunswick at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Newton-Conover, they will head out to take on Cape Fear Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Newton-Conover's defense better be ready for this one: Cape Fear Academy have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season.
