Softball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

Chester had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Broaddus and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 17-3. The loss continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Chester saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allie Ogden, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16-1. As for Broaddus, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Chester nor Broaddus have any future games scheduled.
