Basketball Recap: McLoughlin Comes Up Short

McLoughlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 50-35 to the Burns Hilanders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hilanders this season, with their most recent defeat being a 50-35 loss last Saturday.

McLoughlin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Burns, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLoughlin will challenge Umatilla at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Umatilla will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something McLoughlin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Burns, they will square off against Nyssa at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
