Basketball Recap: Social Circle Falls Short of Model in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Social Circle can now relate to. They were beaten by the Model Blue Devils 64-31 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 72nd).

Social Circle has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season. As for Model, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.

As of now, neither Social Circle nor Model have any future games scheduled.
