Lawson waltzed into their match on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Hunters Lane Warriors get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Lightning, who have now won 18 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Hut Hargrove made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI.

In other batting news, Lawson let Mario Craig and Mason Owens run wild. Craig went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Owens earned three runs and three stolen bases. Those three stolen bases gave Owens a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Henry Ruben, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Lawson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hunters Lane only posted an OBP of .250.

Lawson pushed their record up to 21-10 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Hunters Lane, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Lawson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hunters Lane, they will welcome Hume-Fogg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
