Basketball Recap: Hanahan Hawks vs. North Charleston Cougars
Hanahan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 53-37 fall against the North Charleston Cougars. Defeat or not, Hanahan got some senior leadership from Dru Goldsmith and Justin Maduro. Goldsmith almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine steals, while Maduro posted six points along with five boards and three steals. North Charleston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Richard Hazel III, who put up seven points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists.
