Baseball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado and Albany squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Eldorado had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Albany, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

While Eldorado had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
