Sloan-Hendrix was the 7-1 winner over Quitman when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quitman Bulldogs on Friday.
Wilson Dean and Stetson Wall stepped up to the plate in a big way. Dean scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Wall scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Corey Sullens, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with a stolen base and two RBI.
