Basketball Recap: Ocala Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ocala Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Belleview Rattlers 76-44. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 709th, while the Rattlers are ranked 237th).

Ocala Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Belleview, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ocala Christian and Riverside Christian will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Belleview, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Trinity Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rattlers will need to watch out since the Celtics have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
