Volleyball Recap: Grandview Takes a Loss

Grandview's tournament run continued when they took on Salado on Saturday. The Zebras took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Zebras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Grandview still got an impressive performance from Gracie Lawson, who had seven digs and two aces. Lawson is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Salado, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Coming up, Grandview will be playing in front of their home fans against Godley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salado, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Troy at 7:00 p.m. on September 2.
