Volleyball Recap: Citrus Hill Takes a Loss

Citrus Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Paloma Valley Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

While Citrus Hill was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.

Citrus Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Paloma Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Citrus Hill will square off against Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paloma Valley, they will host Moreno Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
