Soccer Recap: Briggs Comes Up Short

Briggs lost against Columbus International back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bruins took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. While losing is never fun, Briggs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 474th, while Columbus International are ranked 188th).

Briggs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Columbus International, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1.

Looking ahead, Briggs will be playing at home against Madison Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus International, they will head out on the road to square off against Delaware Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
