Softball Recap: Mount Greylock Regional Comes Up Short

Mount Greylock Regional lost against Pittsfield back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mounties came up short against the Generals, falling 14-8. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Audrianna Pelkey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Mila Marcisz also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Mount Greylock Regional's record now sits at 4-11. As for Pittsfield, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-10.

Coming up, Mount Greylock Regional will head out to challenge Hoosac Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pittsfield, they will welcome Monument Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
