Basketball Game Preview: Highland Scots vs. Frontier Titans

The Highland Scots will face off against the Frontier Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Highland will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Independence, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. Highland had just enough and edged Independence out 60-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Scots.

Meanwhile, Frontier waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Rams as they made off with a 67-44 victory. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Frontier is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season. As for Highland, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 11-13.

Highland took their victory against Frontier in their previous meeting back in November of 2018 by a conclusive 55-33. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Frontier's Lucas Murray, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds.
