Basketball Recap: North Gwinnett Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

North Gwinnett won the last time they faced Duluth and things went their way on Tuesday too. The North Gwinnett Bulldogs took down the Duluth Wildcats 49-30. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 323rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Duluth lost, don't look at Krysta Robinson. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Robinson a new career-high in points.

North Gwinnett has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Duluth, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Coincidentally, North Gwinnett and Duluth will both be playing Brookwood the next time they take the court. Duluth will head out to face Brookwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while North Gwinnett will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
