Basketball Recap: Brooks Takes a Loss

Brooks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They took a blow against the Wilson Warriors, falling 59-24. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Warriors are ranked 109th).

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.

When Brooks and Wilson next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Brooks will try to stop Lauderdale County's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Wilson will challenge Deshler and their 12-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
