There's no place like home for Union City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Maple Valley Lions on Tuesday as the Union City Chargers made off with a 52-26 victory. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Despite the defeat, Maple Valley had strong showings from Ines Sanchez Feito, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards, and Aubree Roth, who posted five points.

Union City's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-11. As for Maple Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Union City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-40 defeat against Reading on the 6th. As for Maple Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-21 loss against Quincy on the 6th.
