Flag Football Game Preview: Basha Bears vs. Hamilton Huskies + Official Tickets

The Basha Bears will take on the Hamilton Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Basha will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Monday, Basha strolled past Perry with points to spare, taking the game 21-3.

Basha found their leader in freshman Victoria Beakes, who threw for 119 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72.7% of her passes, and also caught one touchdown. Kailan Nhoung also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.

Basha didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Perry to a completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank Aaliyah Bribiescas for the heroic effort on defense: she. Basha wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 75%.

Meanwhile, Hamilton's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-0 win over Casteel. Fans of the Huskies have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Basha better keep an eye on Marlie Phillips. She was instrumental in Hamilton's win, throwing for 352 yards and six TDs while completing 82.6% of her passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Phillips has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last 20 times she's played.

Basha's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 16-0.

Basha was taken down by Hamilton 35-6 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bears were down 28-0.
