 Colby entered their tilt with Hugoton with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by  a  12-2 margin over the Hugoton Eagles on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Colby also won the last time the pair played  two weeks ago.
  Bryant Weideman made a splash no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits over 4.2 innings pitched. Weideman has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. Weideman was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Colby got a  massive  performance out of  Talon Wark, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Wark is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last five games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Talon Andreason, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Colby has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record  this season. As for Hugoton, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-12.
 Colby didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  10-0  defeat vs. Ulysses on the 30th. Hugoton has also already played their next contest,  a  13-3  loss against Holcomb on the 30th.
