Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton was the 2-0 winner over Pittsfield when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saukees on Thursday.

Carrollton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Pittsfield, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrollton will square off against Marquette Catholic at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pittsfield, they will face off against Illini West at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
